PokerStars, the world’s largest online poker site, recently announced the return of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) this fall. The NAPT was first launched in 2010 and has become one of the most popular live poker tours in the world. The tour will feature a variety of events in different cities across North America, including stops in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Toronto.
The NAPT will kick off with a $1,100 buy-in Main Event at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City on September 8th. The tournament will feature a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million and is expected to attract some of the best players in the world. Other events on the tour include a $2,500 buy-in High Roller event at the Venetian in Las Vegas and a $3,000 buy-in Super High Roller event at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal.
The NAPT is part of PokerStars’ ongoing effort to bring more live poker events to North America. The company has already hosted several successful tournaments in the region, including the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and the PokerStars Championship.
